Meet the band

Blackwater Irish Band based in Sydney is one of Sydney's premier Irish Bands. Formed in 1996 by PJ Cullen (Patrick Cullen) and has been playing continuously on the Irish Music scene.  Blackwater Irish Band features PJ Cullen who is highly regarded in Irish Music circles in the Sydney region, he has travelled near and far to play gigs.

 

Blackwater have played their brand of Irish music at the "Concert in the Park" following the St Patrick's Day Parade in Sydney every year since 2005, to an audience of approximately 10,000+ people.

The Mercantile Hotel, The Rocks, Sydney, every Saturday 4pm - 7pm

The Mercantile opened its doors in 1915, just a year after its construction in 1914. Over the years, this beloved pub has gained iconic status in The Rocks, welcoming visitors year-round with drinks, music, hearty meals, and authentic Irish hospitality.

We've been a regular fixture at the Mercantile every Saturday from 4pm until 7pm. We'd love you to join us!

Bald Rock Hotel, 15 Mansfield Street, Rozelle, NSW. Second Sunday of each month, 3pm - 6pm

Located in the inner west region of Sydney, overlooking White Bay in the suburb of Rozelle, the Bald Rock Hotel is a pub that holds significant historical value as a heritage-listed site. Having operated continuously since its inception, it holds the distinction of being the oldest licensed hotel still in operation in the Balmain and Rozelle area of New South Wales, Australia.

We can be found here on the second Sunday of every month so grab your friends and come and enjoy an afternoon of fun, food drinks and music!

The Plough & Harrow, 75 Argyle Street, Camden, NSW. 1st Sunday of each month, 1pm - 4pm

Built in 1841 by Samuel Arnold, the Plough and Harrow still stands in the original spot it was built on. Briefly known as The Argyle Inn, the pub has been restored to its original name as a homage to our historical significance.

You'll find Blackwater playing here on the first Sunday of every month.
